Right away. Open the app, tap Start exploring and you're in: no account, no sign-up forms. Pick a ready-made tour in your city, or tell the AI what you love and how long you have, then press play.

Voyay is free to download. Without paying you can browse every tour, listen to the intro and the first stop of any tour, and hear three Live guide stories a day. Voyay Pro, an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or annual), unlocks all tours, AI tours and unlimited Live guide stories. The annual plan starts with a 3-day free trial, and the price is shown in the app in your local currency.

Do I need an account?

No. You can explore, start tours and ask the AI for walks as a guest. You only sign in (with an emailed code, Apple or Google) when you want your tours on another device, and the tours you started as a guest come with you. Voyay Pro is tied to your App Store account, so it follows you to a new iPhone either way.

How does the audio guide work?

Each stop plays like a track in a music app. Press play and the guide tells the stop's story; drag the progress bar to skip ahead, change the speed from 0.75x to 2x, and follow the transcript as each sentence lights up. Swipe up for photos, tips and fun facts.

Does the guide keep playing when my phone is locked?

Yes. The audio keeps going in your pocket. On iPhone, the current stop and the next one also show on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with buttons to play, pause and skip to the next stop.

Will I get lost using Voyay?

Unlikely. The map shows the whole route, the real walking path between stops and your own position. When you want step-by-step directions to the next stop, one tap opens them in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.

Why is Voyay better than Google Maps or guidebooks?

Google Maps gets you from A to B. Voyay plans the A to B to C walk around what you're into, and tells you the story of each stop while you walk. No generic 'top 10' lists, just the hidden courtyards and corner cafés worth the detour.

Can I use Voyay in any city I visit?

Ready-made tours cover more than 100 cities, from big capitals to small towns, and the AI can plan a walk in cities around the world. Wherever you land, it's worth asking.

What if I have specific interests?

Tell Voyay. Vegan food spots, 1920s architecture, street art and coffee, kid-friendly parks: the AI builds the walk around what you ask for and how much time you have.

Are my AI tours private?

Yes. A tour the AI makes for you is only yours. It doesn't appear in the catalog or on anyone else's phone. Ready-made tours can be shared with friends from the tour's menu.

Is Voyay good for families with kids?

Yes. Ask for shorter distances, playgrounds and ice cream stops, and let the fun facts at each stop turn the walk into a treasure hunt. You can pause the guide whenever someone needs a break.

Does Voyay work offline?

No. Voyay needs a data connection to load maps, stories and audio while you walk, so a local SIM or eSIM helps when you travel abroad.

Can Voyay replace a traditional city tour guide?

For many walks, yes. You get the stories and local knowledge of a guided tour, on your schedule, at your pace and around your interests.
